The term "white skin privilege" was first made popular during the 1960s by the Weatherman terrorists as they launched their bombing run against "Amerikkka," calling on whites to give up the power their skin color gave them and join the global race war the radicals believed was already in progress. Weatherman was a fringe group most of whose ideas were rejected by the dominant culture. But unfortunately their views on race were not. In succeeding decades the idea of "white skin privilege" became the new default position for racial crusaders and race hustlers alike who believed that white skin privilege was alive and well in our society -- not because white Americans were actively racist, but because they enjoyed the invisible privileges and prerogatives that go along with their skin color.
In this searing pamphlet on the racial realities of contemporary America, David Horowitz and John Perazzo show that in fact the most insidious bias in our culture today is black skin privilege. Black skin privilege means the press will fail to report an epidemic of race riots targeting whites for beatings, shooting and other violence in major American cities over the last several years. Black skin privilege means that whites -- as in the case of the Duke lacrosse players -- will be presumed guilty of racial crimes when they are clearly innocent and then never accorded an apology by those who have stigmatized them. Black skin privilege has created an optical illusion in the liberal culture that white on black attacks are commonplace events when in fact there are five times as many black attacks on whites as the reverse. (As Horowitz and Perazzo note, in 2010, blacks committed more than 25 times the number of acts of interracial violence than whites did.) Black skin privilege exists in the affirmative action programs of our system of higher education and in our culture, where a black racist like Al Sharpton could be regarded by the national media as a civil rights leader and then hired as a TV anchor by NBC.
This pamphlet gives the statistics and hard numbers the mainstream media conceal. It also probes the double standards and double talk that has come to dominate the way America talks when it talks about race.

I lived through the tumultuous 60's and feel that race relations are worse in this country than even then. Reverse racism and this fallacy of White Privilege is dragging this country down. Want to see White Privilege? Read the Boys in the Boat and see what it is. White children being abandoned by their parents during the Depression, white kids that worked in the cotton mills of SC with no shoes on their feet. Even Davy Crockett's father sold him in to servitude as a young teen to pay off the mortgage on the farm. Give me a break...in the last 50 years we have had food stamps, subsidized housing, Affirmative Action..and what has it gotten us? A generation of angry young people who have become slaves to their new slavemasters, drugs, poverty and the government.Product details

Black Skin Privilege and the American Dream eBook David Horowitz John Perazzo Reviews
This book hits the nail right on the head. Really explains what has been happening in America since the 1960s. It is a short read and to the point. Every American should read this.
Confirmed a lot of what I have been thinking for years. Hopefully, many many Americans are now awake to the new racism in America...and it's not black or brown.
Excellent topic and well-written. The straight-forward presentation of the institutional racism that exists in the United States against the whites. Decades and decades of do-gooders trying to "satisfy" the blacks has practically ruined the country.
Leads to inequality and theft of good peoples hard work. Excellent points about a taboo topic. Must read for the thinking American regardless of race.
I would recommend that every American read this, black or white. It explains why white people are so angry. It also explains a lot about racists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and how they gain their power. This should be read with an open mind. This author has hit it on the head as far as celebrities are concerned. This whole issue is scary and will ultimately tear this country apart. Wake Up America, Black and White alike.
Excellent book. I really like and respect David Horowitz and I like listening to him speak. He is SO wise.
This book was a quick read and it really hits the nail on the head. It says what many of us have been thinking for years and already know. I know our youth is being brainwashed in colleges by black professors who hate whites and who really want to turn the tables on us. I didn't say ALL black professors, but there are definitely quite a few out there (see Evergreen college and Naima Lowe in 2017). Turning the table on whites and making them second-class citizens in the USA is definitely their agenda.
More books like this need to be written, and it should be required reading for all whites - especially the millennials and future generations. There are good African American people out there. I kNOW there are. But I also know that there are some who despise us (whites) and want to take anything and everything from us. Whites need to understand this.
All of this is true and disturbing at the same time. MLK would turn white if he saw what Jesse and Al S. have been up to. Race hustling is the new tool created after Martin's death. The black pimp now sells the dirty whore of so called 'social justice.' What we really should be applauding and writing about is the REAL lack of racism in America and the minimal backlash of whites against this nonsense. The KKK and white supremacists have a built in cause to push; but few whites will buy what is offered. The media and intellectuals had best take notice, or else tomorrow's minority flavor of the month will become the new favored blacks and African Americans will have to fight for their privileges against a group that is ALSO non white. That could become very messy indeed. Wake up black Americans who think for themselves and put an end to the racial divide and privileges being used to support this new form of anti white racism that has pervaded our country and politics far too long. Let's all unite under MLK's beautiful dream and fulfill the wonderful promise of a truly united America, not a smoldering divided house of a racist social justice.
